- 3/4 lb ground beef lean
- 3/4 cup onion Finely chopped
- 1/2 cup carrot finely chopped
- 2 tsp garlic minced
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 8 oz can No salt added tomato sauce
- 1 1/2 tbsp tomato paste
- 2 tsp red wine vinegar
- 2 tsp worcestershire sauce
- 1 1/2 tsp brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp ground mustard
- 4 whole wheat hammburger buns split and toasted

- Instructions: 1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef, onion, carrot, garlic, and pepper to pan; cook 5 to 7 minutes or until meat is browned and vegetables are tender, stirring to crumble beef. 2. Stir together tomato sauce, tomato paste, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, and mustard in a bowl. Add to pan, stirring to coat meat, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium; cook 8 minutes or until thickened, stirring occasionally. 3.
